McGovern COATS
The Jack McGovern COATS Disease Foundation's annual Cure COATS 5K run was held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Golden Gate Park.

Jeff Sciaroni ’86 & Bryan Clementi ’93

Jeff Sciaroni ’86 and Bryan Clementi ’93 took to the skies together on a 737 for the first time in their 17 years as Delta Airline pilots. Both alums are Line Check Pilots, meaning they rarely have the opportunity to fly together, but seized the moment when it came. They flew together at Skywest in 2001 and enjoyed their time doing it again all these years later.
Thomas McGuigan ’86
Thomas McGuigan ’86 was honored to receive the Culinary Innovation Ambassador Award from the CCL Hospitality Group for the hard work and innovation he has brought to the San Francisco Towers.
Gregangelo Herrera ’84
Gregangelo Herrera ’84 scored a major win for his 40-year-old Gregangelo Museum in Balboa Terrace by earning official city landmark designation by the Historical Preservation Commission.
David Lewin ’82

David Lewin '82, general manager of the Grand Hyatt San Francisco (center in photo), was awarded the Bob Begley Lifetime Achievement Award for Hospitality by the San Francisco Hotel Council. Mr. Lewin (center in photo) started his career in 1977 as a PBX operator of the San Francisco Hilton and has been general manager at properties in Westlake, Burlingame, Los Angeles, and Waikiki.
Joe Allanson ’81
Joe Allanson '81, former SI Board Regent and Trustee, recently retired after 21 amazing years at Salesforce. As a retirement gift, Salesforce endowed a scholarship in Joe's honor at the University of Southern California in their School of Accounting to recognize Joe's contributions to the company, the cloud industry, and the local community.

Members of the Class of 1974 gathered for golf ahead of their 50-year Golden Diploma Reunion.

Kevin Carroll ’72

Kevin Carroll ’72 published his sixth book, Through the Lens of Gratitude. Carroll shares fifty brief stories of gratitude, each followed by two questions to encourage readers to reflect on gratitude in their own lives. The author’s familiarity with Ignatian spirituality is clearly evident in his writing. The book is available on Amazon.
Joe Haillisy ’70
Joe Hallisy ’70, is being sworn in for his second term on the San Francisco Recreation & Park Commission. He is a strong advocate for youth sports in San Francisco, especially in terms of improving access to athletic fields.
