Remediation Policy

At 十大赌博信誉网站, our counseling team provides personalized support to help students navigate our rigorous curriculum. We monitor progress through mid-quarter, midterm, and semester reports, and we encourage families to check PowerSchool bi-weekly to foster student accountability. If a student's semester grade falls below a C–, faculty and counselors provide direct outreach and academic guidance. Parents are formally notified at the end of the semester if remediation is required to ensure a strong foundation for future success.

The following policy outlines the remediation requirements and options available to students who receive a semester grade of "D" or "F," including guidance on how to complete and submit remediation coursework.

Semester "F" Grades: Any student who receives a semester grade of "F" must remediate (repeat) the course, receive a passing grade, and notify the 网站推荐 Office before re-enrolling the following year. Individual academic departments may also require a placement test to confirm that adequate remediation has taken place. All failing grades must be remediated prior to receiving a diploma. Receiving two or more "F's" in a semester may result in a student being asked to withdraw from 十大赌博信誉网站. Seniors with one unremediated "F" may still participate in the graduation ceremony; however, seniors with two or more unremediated "F's" will not be permitted to participate in the Baccalaureate Mass or Graduation Ceremony.

Semester "D" Grades: As college admissions have become increasingly competitive, a semester "D" on a student's transcript can be a significant liability in the application process. In some cases, remediation of a "D" grade is required for college admission, though this is not universal. A "D" can be remediated by repeating the course outside of 十大赌博信誉网站 or, in certain circumstances, by satisfactorily completing an advanced course in the same subject area. Please note that a semester "D" may disqualify a student from enrolling in an advanced course. There are situations where remediation is not required, so families are encouraged to contact their student's counselor for personalized guidance.

When choosing a class: Many students opt to remediate their courses online during the summer. We recommend students take a course that is approved through the UC A-G list. Meet with your Personal and Academic Counselor if you'd like help finding a course.

Once the course is complete, the student must have the school send an official transcript directly to 十大赌博信誉网站 in one of the following ways:

  1. Email to Mr. Mike Ugawa at mugawa@siprep.org
  2. Via Parchment, if they use this service
  3. FAX to 866-274-1756 (Include a Cover Sheet to the attention of Mr. Mike Ugawa.)

If the institution only sends transcripts by mail, please have them send it to:
