Orchestra & Honors Strings Festival Results

A huge congratulations to Orchestra & Honors Strings on our festival performance this past weekend! Ensembles at the Forum Festivals were rated on a national scale evaluating tone, intonation, rhythm, musicianship & phrasing, and both Orchestra & Honors Strings received a GOLD rating meaning they performed in the top 10% of similar high school groups nationally. Congrats to both ensembles!

Additionally, Oliver Tran received an award for outstanding soloist, and Pablo Gracia Caceres received an award for outstanding leader. Way to go!!

Joe Vollert '84 Inaugurated as New SI President at Mission Mass

In front of hundreds of friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers from the St. Ignatius community and wider Bay Area, Joseph A. Vollert '84 was formally installed as SI's next president at a Mass celebrated by Jesuits West Provincial Sean Carroll, S.J. on Feb. 20, 2026, at St. Ignatius Church on the University of San Francisco campus.
